A profil d’acheteur is the electronic procurement platform a French buyer uses to make consultation documents available and receive applications and offers.
What happens there
The platform supports publication, document access and exchanges between the buyer and suppliers. Its functions include receiving and preserving candidatures and offers. It is an operational workspace, not simply a page describing the purchasing organisation.
Finding the right destination
An opportunity can be discovered through a notice service and lead to a separate profil d’acheteur. Follow the address in the notice and verify the procurement reference before downloading documents or submitting a response.
Before submission
Check the platform’s technical instructions, accepted formats and submission receipt. Use its communications channel when the consultation requires it. Sending a file to a contact’s ordinary email address is not a substitute for the specified electronic process. Retain the acknowledgement and monitor the same consultation for amendments.
