GHANEPS — Ghana Electronic Procurement System

GHANEPS is Ghana’s electronic procurement system, supporting tender publication, supplier participation, electronic submission and subsequent procurement workflows for goods, works and services.

What the system supports

GHANEPS covers goods, works, consultancy, non-consultancy services and disposal of assets. Its functions include supplier registration, tender preparation and submission, evaluation, award, catalogues, framework agreements, auctions and payments. These are different workflows within the platform, not interchangeable names for one procurement procedure.

Finding and responding to an opportunity

The system provides annual procurement plans, current tenders, bidding advertisements, opened-bid details and contract awards. Suppliers can search the tender registry and download available documents. Registered participation enables bid submission and requests for clarification through the system.

Registration and tender requirements

Register both the user and organisation for participation and notifications. An account provides access to the electronic workflow; suppliers must still address the conditions of the particular competition. Distinguish a future procurement plan from an open invitation, and an awarded contract from an opportunity still accepting bids.
