DC1 and DC2 — French candidature forms
DC1 and DC2 are French public procurement forms used to present a supplier’s candidature, distinct from its technical and commercial offer.
What they do
DC1 is the candidature letter and, where relevant, identifies the representative of a group of businesses. DC2 provides information about the individual candidate or group member. They help the buyer examine the business and its capacity to participate.
Candidature versus offer
French guidance separates the response into a candidature and an offre. The first concerns the supplier; the second answers the buyer’s requirement. Completing the administrative forms does not replace the method statement, price or other offer documents.
DUME as an alternative
The electronic Document unique de marché européen can be used for candidature, and a buyer may require it. Follow the actual consultation instructions rather than submitting every possible form. For a consortium, check which information is needed from each member and who is authorised to act for the group.
