CanadaBuys — federal procurement information
CanadaBuys is a Canadian government procurement service for finding opportunities and guidance. The tender notice specifies the method for submitting a response.
Finding an opportunity
CanadaBuys displays notices from Public Services and Procurement Canada and other participating public buyers. Read the organisation, scope and response instructions rather than assuming that all notices use one transaction route.
Submitting a bid
The delivery method is identified in the notice. Follow the specified electronic system or other authorised method, and check any account or registration requirements before the deadline. Publication of a notice is not evidence that an ordinary email submission will be accepted.
Preparing the response
Use the latest documents, record amendments and distinguish mandatory requirements from scored criteria. A supplier should also identify whether the opportunity establishes a contract, standing offer or supply arrangement: these have different consequences for how future work is placed.
