CAIS EOP — Centralised Automated Information System “Electronic Public Procurement” (Bulgaria)
ЦАИС ЕОП is Bulgaria's centralized automated information system for electronic public procurement, used by contracting authorities and bidders for publishing, managing and conducting public procurement procedures.
What it is
ЦАИС ЕОП is the centralized automated information system maintained by the Public Procurement Agency (АОП). The public Portal for public procurement describes the system and provides access to the Register of Public Procurements, standardized documents and e‑services (portal description and register). Transactional functions
The platform supports organisation and employee profiles, registration of electronic signatures, logging of system events, preparation and electronic submission of applications/offers and controlled opening/decryption of bids. AOP publishes user guidance and operates a help centre for these technical and practical matters. ([1]; [2])
Practical consequence for suppliers
Suppliers should register the account that will submit documents and, where required, register a qualified electronic signature in that profile to sign and submit within CAIS EOP. AOP’s user centre provides assistance on registration, signatures and submission. ([2])
