Bonfire e‑Procurement Portal (Barbados)
Bonfire is the Government of Barbados e‑procurement portal for publishing open and past tender opportunities, receiving electronic submissions, and supporting supplier submissions and tracking.
What it does
The Bonfire portal publishes Open and Past public opportunities for the Government of Barbados and accepts electronic tender submissions. After logging in suppliers can view Submissions with Work‑in‑Progress, Completed and Missed tabs, access opportunity pages to review requirements, and track opportunity status.
How it differs from the Supplier's Register
Bonfire is a transactional platform for posting solicitations and handling submissions and related workflows. The Supplier's Register is a separate record of supplier details (for example name and address) and is created via the government "Register as a Vendor" link as described in the procurement FAQs.
What suppliers should know
To participate in tenders vendors must register and create a Bonfire account; registration sends a confirmation email with a transaction code to activate the account. Submissions may be withdrawn and "un‑submitted" back to Work‑in‑Progress. There is no fee to submit proposals through Bonfire.
