National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers — Nigeria

The CCSP is a BPP‑managed register for categorising firms that supply the Federal Government; registrants use federalcontractors.bpp.gov.ng and receive an Interim Registration Report (IRR).

What it is and how it functions

The CCSP is maintained by the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP). Firms register at federalcontractors.bpp.gov.ng, provide company, financial and past‑work details, submit the online application, and can print an Interim Registration Report (IRR) after successful completion (see registration procedure: [1]).

How it differs from procurement notices or bid portals

The CCSP is a supplier‑registration database, not a bid submission or tender publication portal. A Chief of Staff circular directs MDAs to include “Evidence of registration on the National Database of Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers” in solicitation documents and to request the IRR as proof (see circular: [2]).

Practical consequence for suppliers

Suppliers who intend to bid for federal contracts should register on the CCSP and obtain a printed IRR so they can provide the requested evidence. The circular places the evidence requirement on MDAs; it does not itself prescribe evaluation or award outcomes.
