e-aukcija — e-Auction (Bosnia and Herzegovina)

An electronic auction phase in Bosnia and Herzegovina public procurement allowing bidders to submit lower prices or improved values after initial evaluation, conducted via the e-Nabavke system.

What it is

e-aukcija is a defined method for conducting part of a public procurement procedure that takes place after initial evaluation. It permits submission of new prices lowered from initial offers or new/improved values for specified offer elements and supports automated ranking in the e-Nabavke system.

How it differs from other phases

Before an e-aukcija is scheduled, the contracting authority enters all acceptable offers into the system. When scheduled, all bidders whose offers are acceptable are notified simultaneously via e-Nabavke with timing and procedural details; bidders with unacceptable offers are not advised at that moment.

Practical consequence for a supplier

A supplier can be included in an e-aukcija only if its offer is entered as acceptable by the contracting authority. If included, notifications via e-Nabavke will contain start date/time, duration, lot and ranking information as provided by the system.
