CPPP — Central Public Procurement Portal, India

CPPP is India’s Central Public Procurement Portal. Its publication and electronic procurement functions serve different purposes in the tender process.

Publication

The e-publishing function makes tender enquiries, corrigenda and award information available. A corrigendum is an amendment to published information, so the original notice alone may not contain the latest requirements.

Electronic procurement

Electronic procurement carries out tendering activities through the online system. Discovering a notice through a publication service and actually submitting a bid are separate steps. Read the notice’s submission instructions to identify the required workflow.

Practical checks

Record the tender reference, buyer and closing time, then check the document list and amendments. Establish the registration and digital-signature requirements of the designated submission system before preparing the final upload. Do not confuse the instructions for government officials publishing notices with the instructions for suppliers responding to them. A public search result is useful for discovery, but it is not a submission receipt.
