Plataforma Digital de Contrataciones Públicas (COMPRAS MX) — Mexico
COMPRAS MX is the federal administration's electronic procurement platform that publishes convocatorias, hosts procurement documents and supports electronic submission where used.
What it is
Plataforma Digital de Contrataciones Públicas (COMPRAS MX) is the federal administration’s electronic procurement platform. It is used to publish convocatorias and to host official procurement documents; in procedures carried out through the platform, it also functions as the channel for receiving electronic proposals and related records.
How it differs from a buyer webpage
Procuring entities may also publish a link to a convocatoria on their institutional website, but official files and, when applicable, the electronic procedure are made available via COMPRAS MX. Convocatorias published there are available free of charge on the platform.
Practical consequence for a supplier
Suppliers should consult the convocatoria on COMPRAS MX to obtain official documents and, for procedures run through the platform, follow the platform’s channels and contact points (for example, the platform help email and phone) for submission and operational questions.
