Whangārei Urban Bus Services – CityLink, SchoolLink & Hikurangi Link

Northland Regional Council intends to release a Request for Tender in June 2026 for the delivery of public transport services in Whangārei. The proposed nine-year contract will cover the CityLink urban network, SchoolLink dedicated school services, and the Hikurangi Link regional service. The tender will seek a supplier capable of delivering safe, reliable, and accessible services using high-quality, low-emission vehicles (for CityLink).
