OP-VET Water sector expert / Mozambique

OP-VET Water sector expert / Mozambique Water Sector expert will provide technical expertise to ensure that workforce development activities are aligned with the current and future needs of the water sector. This includes contributing to assessments of skills demand, employment opportunities, and workforce gaps, as well as engaging relevant public and private sector stakeholders, employers, and industry representatives. The expert will support the validation of findings and recommendations to help strengthen the relevance of training provision. The expert will also support grantees and TVET centres in building and strengthening partnerships with employers to expand opportunities for work-based learning and workplace hosting. This includes providing guidance on employer engagement, workforce development, and graduates’ transition into employment, as well as promoting collaboration among employers, training providers, government institutions, and other key stakeholders. In addition, the expert will contribute to outreach and awareness-raising activities that encourage participation in training programmes and workforce development initiatives. The role includes identifying opportunities for stronger sector collaboration, knowledge sharing, and dissemination of lessons learned, while supporting sustainability measures that help training programmes and employer engagement remain relevant and effective beyond the project period.,
