Unmanned aerial system hexacopter

Closed·21 Apr 2026

Unmanned aerial system hexacopter The procurement concerns an unmanned aerial system (UAS) (hereafter referred to as the system) that must be designed for short-range transportation tasks and must enable the secure transfer of payloads of at least 14 kilograms. The system must be a hexacopter-based platform. The system must be capable of carrying a diverse set of payloads. In addition to various flight-compatible sensors, the system must support other payload types such as measurement units, environmental monitoring devices, small delivery items, and mission-specific modular equipment. The payload interface must allow integration of different equipment without significant modifications to the airframe. The system must operate safely and reliably in Finnish weather conditions, including low temperatures, wind, humidity, and precipitation typical of year‑round operation in Finland. The system must therefore be designed to withstand these conditions without degradation of flight safety or mission performance. The procurement is co-funded by the Council of Oulu Region, The Just Transition Fund, JTF (SAAC – Northern Ostrobothnia Sustainable & Advanced Aviation Consortium project (J11149)).,
