Earth Sciences New Zealand (ESNZ) is seeking Proposals from the two incumbent MBIE All-of-Government (AoG) Travel Management Services (TMS) providers – Orbit (currently servicing GNS Science) and FCM (currently servicing NIWA). MBIE requires ESNZ to operate under a single TMS provider, and this RFP is a closed secondary procurement to select the provider that offers the best overall fit for ESNZ. This procurement aims to establish a unified travel management solution that supports ESNZ’s end to end travel processes, including online booking, approvals, financial integration, traveller support, risk management and reporting. A key requirement is the ability to integrate with ESNZ’s enterprise systems — Oracle (ERP) and Unimarket (Procurement) — to enable automated workflows, policy alignment, financial accuracy, and consolidated visibility of travel activity across all ESNZ business units.
