Supply of MOT Type 1 and Type 2 Aggregates

Unite Procurement UK Limited (part of Unite Holding SE), on behalf of the Ministry of Defence, is seeking suppliers to join the Unite Procurement Platform to support the Supply of MOT Type 1 and Type 2 Aggregates The procurement covers. The procurement is for the supply of crushed sub-base materials used for structural support across MOD-related works. MOT Type 1: A stronger and denser crushed aggregate material, widely used for heavy-load areas such as driveways and structural sub-base applications. MOT Type 2: A finer crushed sub-base material with improved permeability, suited to light-duty applications such as pedestrian traffic areas and where improved drainage is required. Suppliers should be able to provide consistent graded material to specification and support MOD supply requirements through appropriate delivery arrangements and product traceability. The Unite Procurement Platform (Unite | Simplify indirect procurement with our smarter platform) offers a compliant route to market for UK Public Sector organisations to manage low-value, high-volume procurement. Unite Procurement UK Limited does not intend to appoint a sole supplier for this requirement. Instead, multiple suppliers may be onboarded to the Unite Procurement Platform to ensure a diverse and competitive supply base, supporting flexibility and choice for the Ministry of Defence and associated organisations. Suppliers are encouraged to express their interest by the stated closing date to ensure early consideration. However, applications to join the Unite Procurement Platform will be welcome at any time beyond the initial deadline.
