Allied Health External Reference Group

Allied Health External Reference Group (AHERG) ACC is seeking expressions of interest from individuals with expertise in physiotherapy, hand therapy and podiatry to join an External Reference Group. The group will provide ACC with expert advice, clinical guidance, sector insights and potential solutions regarding the delivery of the following allied health services: physiotherapy, hand therapy and podiatry services as delivered under the ACC current Allied Health Services contract (together the “allied health services”); Group members will have the opportunity to share their perspectives, provide advice, and contribute to discussions on areas such as service model design, clinical appropriateness, access, performance management, value for money, and Scheme sustainability. Members will also help test ideas, provide feedback on proposals, consider evidence, and identify areas for further analysis. We are keen to work collaboratively with group members to address these challenges and help shape future Allied Health Services that deliver positive client outcomes, provide value for money, and support long-term Scheme sustainability.
