Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora seeks proposals from suitably qualified Pacific providers to deliver a nationally consistent, locally responsive Pacific Kaiāwhina Navigation Service that improves equitable access to health, disability, social and community services for Pacific peoples across Aotearoa New Zealand. Providers will be required to employ and support a culturally competent Pacific Kaiāwhina workforce to deliver community-based, non-clinical navigation, advocacy, health literacy, care coordination, referral support, follow-up and community engagement activities. Proposals should demonstrate strong Pacific governance and leadership, established community relationships, culturally safe delivery approaches, workforce sustainability arrangements, clinical escalation pathways, and the ability to achieve improved access, engagement, continuity of care and health outcomes for Pacific communities. Providers must also demonstrate capability to collect, and report agreed service, workforce and outcome measures, while delivering services in accordance with the scope of practice, workforce standards and reporting requirements What’s important to us Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking providers who can demonstrate a strong commitment to improving equitable health outcomes for Pacific peoples through culturally grounded, community-led, and relationship-based service delivery.
