Im Umspannwerk Wolkramshausen soll schrittweise, in zeitlich versetzten Bauabschnitten, die vorhandene 220-kV-Freiluftschaltanlage abgerissen werden und der Neubau der 380-kVFreiluftschaltanlage erfolgen. Der Neubau der 380-kV-Freiluftschaltanlage ist z.T. auf einer neu erworbenen Fläche und z.T. auf dem vorhandenen Umspannwerksgelände geplant.
