Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa (Te Papa) is seeking registrations of interest from qualified suppliers to replace its current Human Resource Information System (HRIS). Wave One of the HRIS programme focuses on core HR replacement and foundational capability uplift, including: • Core HR (system of record) • Payroll • Workforce Management (leave, rostering, time & attendance) • Data migration and integration with existing systems • Retirement of Jadestar Te Papa is seeking to establish a modern, integrated and scalable HRIS platform that that underpins organisational transformation, improves workforce visibility, and enables more effective, future-ready People & Culture operations. The HRIS is expected to provide a single source of truth for all kaimahi (employees, contractors, volunteers) and support integrated, end-to-end HR processes with minimal manual intervention. It needs to enable self-service and mobile access for all workforce segments and support real-time reporting and predictive insights from HR data. Te Papa's preferred commercial model is a Lead Supplier arrangement whereby a single supplier assumes responsibility for end-to-end delivery, including management of implementation and supporting partners where applicable.
