Roofing Contractor Re-roofing of blocks A,C & F at Kapiti College

1.2 The Kapiti College BOT seek the services of a Roofing Contractor to undertake the re-roofing of Blocks A, C & F (all shown on Drawings supplied by Ruruku). The works involve the following scope • Install scaffold and edge protection as outlined in a SSSP • Remove old roof cladding, flashings, fixings and accessories in a planned stage manner to tie in with the laying of the new material • Install new cladding, fixings, flashings and accessories as indicted in the attached drawings. • Use trampolines and covers to ensure weathertightness throughput the reroofing process Requirements for phasing and/or staged handover of the project: this project does not require staging but work on one block at a time is preferable. The contractors will provide a construction programme with their tender submissions. Project consultants are: • Project Manager: Ian Rattray – Ruruku Lead Designer: Krish Rudra - Ruruku 1.3 The Contractor will be engaged through a Medium Works Contract (Construction contracts for professional services and works). • Timeframes are: • Start date: October 2026 • Due Date for Completion: January 2027 • The program is negotiable with a preferred supplier if their price is right. • The project will be a complete turnkey project where the completed section of the building ready for school use will be handed over on completion.
