South Dublin County Council conducted the Procurement in accordance with the competitive dialogue procedure pursuant to EU Directive 2014/24/EU, as implemented in Ireland by the European Union (Award of Public Authority Contracts) Regulations 2016 (S.I. No. 284 of 2016) the OJEU reference for which was 2017/S 081-155595. Following a competitive dialogue procurement process, Adwood Limited, were selected as the successful economic operator, that has all the right skills and is considered most capable of working in collaboration with the Council, to identify the optimal solution for the development site in accordance with the Masterplan and the Council’s requirement and to deliver it as efficiently as possible. The development is for a sustainable integrated mixed tenure housing comprises of a mix of houses and apartments, including social and private houses, apartments, and ancillary buildings. The development consists of 1034 units (30% social, 70% Affordable and private), comprises a mix of three-, and four-bedroom houses, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments and three-bedroom duplexes. The housing development will be delivered in phases, with phase 1 delivery in 2022, phase 2 2023, phase 3 2024 and phase 4 in 2025.
