Auckland Council Group is seeking information from the market on modern connected mobility solutions that support the efficient booking access, movement, utilisation, monitoring, and management of shared mobility assets across organisations including Auckland Council, Auckland Transport, and Watercare. As one of New Zealand’s largest public sector organisations, Auckland Council Group manages a diverse mobility environment spanning multiple organisations, locations, and operation requirements. We are seeking to better understand how modern mobility platforms can enable a more integrated, efficient, and user-focused approach to workplace mobility while improving governance, safety, sustainability, and value for money. Auckland Council Group welcomes innovative approaches that move beyond traditional fleet management and support the transition to a connected, digitally enabled mobility ecosystem. We encourage respondents to demonstrate how their solutions can support future mobility needs through innovation, interoperability, and continuous improvement We are particularly interested in providers with proven capability, demonstrated experience, and a strong track record of delivering scalable mobility solutions for large, complex organisations. Responses should outline current market capabilities, emerging technologies, implementation approaches, integration capabilities, and innovative service models that enable connected mobility, optimise asset utilisation, enhance the user experience, and support data-driven decision-making. This Request for Information (RFI) is intended to inform Auckland Council Group’s future mobility strategy and procurement planning by identifying solutions that are scalable, flexible and capable of supporting evolving operational and sustainability objectives of the organisation.
