The DSBP2 comprises of an initial 20 school building projects and may be expanded to include further projects in the future. These school building project range from new build, replacement, refurbishment and extensions to primary and post primary schools. The NDFA intends to deliver the DSBP2 in bundles of approximately 5-7 schools each and each bundle is expected to have a construction value in the region of €75 - 120m. It is intended that there will be 3 initial bundles, referred to as Project Nore, Boyne, and Dargle and that further bundles may be added in the future. This competition is for the establishment of a Design and Build Contractor Framework for the DSBP2 and the award of the first call-off contract under the framework (Project Nore). The call-off contracts for the other two initial bundles will be the subject of mini-competitions under this Framework, as will any subsequent bundles.
