Dear supplier, We are inviting proposals for a project titled "Modelling the Cost of Inaction in the UK Food System under Extreme Weather and Nature Loss Scenarios." The objective of this work is to develop robust modelling that quantifies the economic, social, and environmental costs of failing to act on risks posed by extreme weather events and biodiversity loss within the UK food system. This analysis will inform policy and strategic decision-making to enhance resilience and sustainability. Key Details: Scope: Modelling impacts under multiple scenarios of extreme weather and nature loss, including direct and indirect effects on food production, supply chains, and consumer prices. Deliverables: A comprehensive report, supporting datasets, and clear recommendations for policy and industry stakeholders. Deadline for Proposal Submission: 20 January 2026, 17hs.
