The deviation is requested to appoint Fidelity Cleaning Services, the current contracted service provider, to ensure efficiency and continuity of service. As they are already familiar with the premises, this avoids delays, additional administrative processes, and potential operational disruptions associated with appointing a new provider for a once-off service. The required service is directly linked to the existing contract, and the cost increase of 6.6% is within the allowable 15% variation threshold in line with SCM Instruction Note 3 of 2021/22
