Call for Tenders for the Provision of a Contract for Hot Meals under the School Meals Scheme to Scoil Mhuire NS

The Board of Management of Scoil Mhuire NS is seeking proposals for the provision of a contract for the delivery of hot meals through the Dept of Social Protection (DSP) under the school meals scheme. The school is dependent on the level of funding from DSP for the Hot Meals Scheme. Scoil Mhuire intends to facilitate the availablility of this service for hot meals each day of the school year (182 days) for 363 students. The school calendar will be furnished to the successful company at the beginning of each school year. It is important to note that there is no kitchen facility available for food providers. The successful tenderer must view the site in advance of submitting a tender proposal. This site visit will allow service providers to propose any works, installation and/or replacement of any necessary equipment or service (only with prior agreement of the school representative) to ensure the hot meals will be provided for from a start date of 6th January, 2025. We would like all site visits to be concluded by 27th November, 2024. We require an efficent, hygienic set up, with freshly prepared, nutricious food that is well presented. Clean up after service provision is also expected. It is intended to award a contract to a single service provider. A high-quality, environmentally friendly, flexible and responsive service is required, with continuous improvement and innovation for the full school year in which the school operates.
