We are seeking suitably qualified supplier(s) to provide Simulated Participant services for Te Wānanga Waiora, Division of Health. These services will support clinical education, simulation activities, teaching, and Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) across the University’s health professional programmes, including Nursing, Midwifery, Pharmacy, and the upcoming Medicine programme. We need access to a reliable, professional, and diverse pool of trained Simulated Participants who can consistently and accurately portray patients, whānau or family members, carers, healthcare professionals, and other roles required in realistic clinical scenarios. The supplier will be responsible for recruiting, screening, briefing, scheduling, managing, and supporting participants so they are prepared and available when required. The University intends to establish a panel of one or more suitably qualified suppliers. A panel arrangement will provide flexibility, service continuity, increased participant diversity, and scalable capacity, while enabling the University to engage the supplier best suited to each activity, simulation, or OSCE.
