This research project aims to engage a diverse and inclusive group of members of the public through a series of deliberative workshops to explore the role of lowland peatlands in achieving goals around the environment, farming and economic growth. > To learn and understand public and community views and perspectives towards the future role of lowland peatlands and what underlies them. > To Identify key principles and priorities to help resolve competing land use demands in lowland peatlands. It is also possible that these findings could be taken into consideration when designing future policy.
