TAR 25/16 Quantitative spatial model for transport appraisal

Research to identify and quantify the explicit interactions between the transport market and the potential welfare effects in other sectors of the spatial economy by developing and using a quantitative spatial model. The research will: 1. develop a quantitative spatial model capable of carrying out transport appraisal of investment schemes/projects and to evaluate policy options. 2. identify and quantify the explicit interactions between the transport market and the potential welfare effects in other sectors of the spatial economy by developing and using a quantitative spatial model.
