Taihape Raw Water Falling Main Replacement Stage 6 Pt A – Railway

Council has progressively been completing pipe replacement for the Taihape Municipal Raw Water Falling Main. Stage 6 is at the southern end and covers a section just North of Taihape from the State Highway under the North Island Main Truck Rail (NIMTR) and across private farmland to the Water Treatment Plant. Council wish complete the section of the replacement pipeline under the railway line this construction season. Rangitikei Council is seeking registration of interest from contractors that is able to supply and install the required section of pipeline under the railway line. This will involve pipe and ducting installation by trenchless technology, working within the rail corridor and on the side of the State Highway. We are looking to engage and partner with a contractor that can demonstrate proficiency and experience in these areas. This ROI will be used to select contractors to participate in an invited RFT process.
