Market dialogue concerning upcoming Framework Agreement on Kontek HVDC ground electrode

Energinet wishes to conduct a market dialogue regarding the procurement of HVDC spare part electrode nets for the HVDC interconnector Kontek. Energinet Eltransmission A/S which is part of the Energinet Group, hereby invites potential market suppliers to take part in a written market dialogue. The purpose of this market dialogue is to investigate the market in relation to potential suppliers which are engaged in or could be engaged in the supply of electrode nets, for the Kontek HVDC interconnector in Denmark. Energinet wishes to enter a framework agreement regarding the procurement of HVDC (high voltage direct current) electrode nets, for the Kontek HVDC interconnector. The framework agreement is expected to run over a period of 8 years. The framework agreement is expected to include an initial procurement of 5 electrode nets. The electrode nets will be used for the existing electrode station at Stevns Klint, and the nets must therefore be suitable for installation in the existing environment. The electrode nets offered must comply with the mechanical and electrical characteristics of the existing electrodes. The electrodes shall be suitable for installation in salt water. The electrodes shall be compliant with installation on existing concrete beds, which are positioned on the seabed. The electrode net shall be comprised of an anode mesh, with an approximate dimension of 16 350 mm x 1 225 mm. The anode shall be constructed in titanium. The anode shall be sandwiched between two outer protecting mats, comprised of e.g. plastic tubes. The plastic tubes shall be interconnected with flexible fixings, making it possible to roll up the electrode net, for transportation and easy installation. The outer dimensions of the electrode net shall comply with 16 500 mm x 1 300 mm.
