The equipment underpins the organisation's core IT environment and supports the full production infrastructure estate. The current hardware has been in service for approximately 7-11 years and is approaching or has reached end-of-life and end-of-support status. Continued operation of unsupported infrastructure presents significant operational, security, and compliance risk. This is a capital replacement of essential infrastructure and does not represent an expansion of scope or increase in capacity beyond current operational requirements.
