Market Consultation Utility Connect - Power Back-up

The context and high-level requirements described below are indicative only and serve to support dialogue with the market. UC welcomes feedback on the feasibility of these assumptions and invites suppliers to propose alternative solutions that may meet UC’s objectives. We require a 48VDC power backup solution for our antenna sites and PoP locations that is capable of providing 24 hours of power autonomy. The solution must be installed within our own Site Support Cabinet (SSC), which will house all equipment required for our network operations. The solution must also support remote monitoring and management. Connectivity for monitoring purposes will be provided through UC’s IP transport network. The proposed solution shall be suitable for long-term deployment in telecom infrastructure environments and integrate seamlessly with the equipment installed in the SSC.
