MILSPEC Cables for Defence Applications

This RfI forms part of a market survey aimed at exploring the market for MILSPEC cables for defence applications. At this stage, respondents are not requested to submit a detailed proposal. Respondents are invited to provide sufficient information about their products, solutions and capabilities to enable the NLD MoD to gain a better understanding of the possibilities, limitations and challenges within the market. In particular, the NLD MoD seeks to explore opportunities for a coordinated, Defence-wide approach to cable assortment management, including the potential for standardisation, improved availability, supply chain resilience and efficient procurement. The market consultation will also consider how common Defence requirements can be supported alongside specific requirements arising from individual platforms, systems, programmes and projects.
