Description

1.1 DSIT is inviting bids from specialist suppliers and/or a consortium of suppliers to design, build and run the digital verification services (DVS) register, which is a register of digital verification service providers (DVSPs) who have been registered with the government following certification against the UK Digital Identities and Attributes Trust Framework (UK DIATF). This includes maintaining, improving and integrating an existing web service - the human-readable digital verification services register (HRR) - and building and running a new web service, the machine-readable register (MRR). The MRR is an extension of the HRR and will leverage PKI technology to enable programmatic checks against a DVSP's certified and registered status in a wide variety of use cases and scenarios in which digital identity or verification services are or will be used. The Authority may extend the contract for up to three additional years, with each extension subject to annual budgetary approval.
