***** THIS IS AN AWARD NOTICE, NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION ***** This procurement is being concluded following a mini competition under the Crown Commercial Services - RM6126 - Research & Insights DPS Brief Description of Requirement The Science and Technologies Facilities Council (STFC) (part of UKRI) wishes to commission two pieces of evaluation work. National Satellite Test Facility (NSTF) 1) An impact focused construction evaluation 2) Review of the evaluation baseline for the operational phase 3) A holistic review and update of the original Monitoring and Evaluation plan; 4) Analysis with recommendations for robust, accurate and complete data collection required for evaluation of impact and benefits realisation Space Weather Instrumentation, Measurement, Modelling and Risk (SWIMMR) 1) End of programme evaluation, focused on benefit and impact to Government, Space Industry and Research As a public body UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and, within that, STFC, need to understand the value and impact of their investments both to reassure the government (& the public) that their money is being well spent, but also to guide their future investment decisions.
