Subject to regulatory approval and owner resolutions, Energie Graz plans to construct an Energetic Sewage Sludge Utilization plant (43.000 t/a mechanically dewatered) on the basis of waste heat recovery using heat pumps, BFB mono-incineration, sewage sludge drying incl. vapor condenser, building, energy distribution, sludge conveying system, dry flue gas cleaning, outdoor facilities, district heating pipeline incl. necessary ancillary services and engineering at the site of City of Graz’ wastewater treatment plant in Gössendorf. The contracting authority explicitly points out that the regulatory approvals have not yet been granted and that all procurement procedures will be carried out subject to committee approval, also due to statutory decision-making requirements.
